The workshop Aktion Mix Comics Commando aims to create a collective work and experimental comic.

Process:

0: Obsolete or known films are proposed as a working basis, the aim is to divert and mix them to create a new narrative.

1: Participants are making linocuts depicting different times, different people or different places related to the selected films.

2: The prints will be made on inked media , prepared in the workshop.

3: Participants will make collages out of the printed engravings.

These collages, mixing various contributions and cutouts, will become parts of the comic.

4: The different pages are hung on a wall and arranged to create new narratives.

5: Existing text is selected by the participants to be linked with the images.

6: A PDF file with the completed story is produced, published on the projects blog and sent to an on demand publishing site. Participants and interested readers can now obtain a copy of the edited project.
